Energy Efficiency

Leading the Way in Energy-Smart Ventilation Solutions

EC fan ventilation technology

EVOAQ systems are driven by Kiwi innovation - designed right here in New Zealand, for New Zealand. Our proprietary EC fan ventilation technology combines powerful fan performance with exceptional energy efficiency.

Each system features built-in smart controls and sensors that automatically adjust to your home's needs, so you get the perfect balance of comfort and efficiency without lifting a finger.

Efficient & Low-Cost Comfort

Every home is unique — and so is every ventilation system. But one thing stays the same: efficiency you can count on. EVOAQ’s advanced EC technology ensures your system delivers fresh, healthy air without draining your wallet or the planet’s resources.

With an average yearly running cost of around $70, our systems cost less than a dollar a day to operate — even in the most demanding conditions. That’s smart comfort and sustainable performance, working hand in hand.

According to EECA, the three essentials of a healthy home are:

  1. Heating
  2. Ventilation
  3. Extraction

When you are heating your house during winter times, it is important to keep your home dry and well-ventilated - especially when you turn off the heating, as this is one of the main causes of condensation problems. Good ventilation is also essential to maintain the air quality of your home, removing excess moisture and allergens.

Let's talk about ventilation

Demand Controlled Ventilation

Our systems use Demand Controlled Ventilation (DCV), which means their rate is automatically adjusted according to user demand and the quality of available air, using our built-in intelligent controller which continuously senses air quality to regulate the ventilation rate. This makes them among the most advanced continuous ventilation systems on the market.

Specialised software determines the correct set points based on established standards, to achieve both high indoor air quality and maximum thermal comfort.

Our systems are designed to meet international requirements of ASHRAE 62.2.

Continuous Ventilation

Ventilation should be continuous, which requires a fan to operate at not only high air flows but also at low levels (10% or less) when the air is too cold, hot, or humid.

By combining our DCV controls with our highly energy-efficient EC fan ventilation technology, our continuous ventilation systems can achieve high airflows when the outdoor air quality is good. Most importantly, they can also achieve very low airflows when the outside air may affect the thermal comfort inside your house.

This is how our systems are able to ventilate continuously, where most other systems would turn off.
